Rev. Cat has an extensive background in speaking, teaching, writing and workshop facilitation nationwide. She holds the degrees of Master of Divinity (Starr King School for the Ministry) and Master of the Art of Teaching (U.C. Berkeley) as well as two California teaching credentials. She is a graduate of the Committed Non-Violent Communication Practitioner Program of BayNVC. She holds certification as a dreamworker from the Institute of Advanced Archetypal Studies and is a recipient of the Margaret Fuller Award of the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation. She is currently a UUMA sponsored Chapter Presenter, offering Repairing Rifts in the Church, a workshop intensive in applying the conflict resolution practices of Non-Violent Communication to the dynamics of congregational systems. She serves on the Senior Staff at Pacific Central District’s Leadership School. Her UU Community Ministry is affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley.
She offers an NVC-based workshop, "Healing Rifts in the Church" as a sponsored CENTER presenter next year to UUMA Chapters, but as also am available to bring this workshop to districts and congregations.
